过去七世父母超度
“七世父母”是指自己过去七世在六道轮回时各道所有的父母。释迦牟尼大弟子目犍连尊者曾经施设大法会，以饭食供养十方清净僧，仰仗十方众僧的神威道力救拔自己的母亲，脱离六道轮回。所以，通过法会超渡七世父母，可以使他们离苦得乐，也可为现生父母增福延寿。
Spiritual Liberation of Parents from Past Seven Lifetimes
Parents of past seven lifetimes refers to the different set of parents during our transmigration of the six realms. Maudgalyāyana was one of the main disciples of Gautama Buddha who organized the grand puja.
